When you work here your island home will be Senggigi: an absolutely breath-taking beach town and honestly, pretty strategically located. Being right next to Mataram, the capital of Lombok, it puts you close to modern malls and all the hustle and bustle of a city where you can soak in Lombok's authentic local culture. Since your host company is in Mataram, this is also where you will commute to work on a daily. Alternatively, the perfect weekend escape - Gili - is just a 20 min boat ride away. There is no vehicles on Gili. Only horses, bicycles & lots of cocktails to keep up it's reputation for being the best party island in Indonesia.
