Alternatively, the perfect weekend escape - Gili - is just a 20 min boat ride away. There is no vehicles on Gili. Only horses, bicycles & lots of cocktails to keep up it's reputation for being the best party island in Indonesia. Your host company is 25 minutes up North Senggigi. That means going to work will have you drive along ocean view roads with the most straight-out-of-the-movie type of scenery.
